Flex Ai

Flexible Audio Infrastructure is combining the concepts of a reliable hardware basis for real-time operation and the flexibility of software-defined applications to a whole new concept of audio processing.

All Flex AI-based applications can run on the AIXpressor and Jünger Audio’s range of servAI audio processing servers – or even on a spanned array of multiple units. The hardware backs out from being the defining aspect of our portfolio.

AIXpressor

AIXpressor comes in a compact one rack unit high 19” housing, packed with a high-performance processing system and comprehensive media interfacing. Powered by an x86 CPU-based processor board, AIXpressor is open for future upgrades increasing its capabilities as technology evolves. To give an example of its current performance, the new processing core is powerful enough to compute over 500 instances of Level Magic in a single device. All audio decoding, processing, and encoding are performed by the unit’s main core without additional DSP cards or codec boards. But the AIXpressor is not just a single digital audio processor. Instead, it is Jünger Audio’s most flexible audio processing solution to date with almost unlimited possibilities.

Flex AI Server

FlexAIservers can be used with traditional multichannel audio interfaces or with AoIP or standard Ethernet to process real-time, stream-based, or offline audio data. Running our new audio infrastructure flexAI, the series is ready to power up Jünger Audio’s renowned audio algorithms for the next generation of audio processing. The series is based on customized industry-standard servers that proved their reliability in thousands of installations worldwide. With currently three different available sizes, processing capabilities can easily be scaled for any application and installation.

Interfaces

Netbridge UHD

Netbridge UHD is an advanced interface for simple and fast integration of 4K-UHD streams into MADI and AoIP (AES67 and Dante®) infrastructures. Its four 3G/HD/SD SDI interfaces, de-embed up to 64 channels of SDI audio, which are simultaneously mapped or freely routed to both MADI and AoIP ports and vice versa; MADI and AoIP re-embedded into the outgoing SDI data streams. Video and audio delays in all four UHD quadrants ensure full audio-video synchronization. Ideally suited for 4K-UHD video production, the Netbridge UHD closes the gap between digital audio production systems and modern video formats. With its full-blown 64 channel interfaces, Netbridge UHD has the capacity to manage any channel configuration from stereo to high-channel count immersive audio. Equipped with four 3G/HD/SD SDI I/Os, a 64 channel Dante® and AES67 AoIP interface, and a 64 channel MADI I/O port; a total of 192 input and output channels allows for comprehensive conversion and cross-routing of signals between all three formats.

Easy Loudness SDI – Dual Stereo Level Magic Audio Processor

Ideally suited for stereo broadcast and production, the EASY LOUDNESS SDI audio processor is designed to ensure that audio levels and loudness are automatically kept under control – from program to program and day to day. Featuring comprehensive Level Magic loudness control, failover switching, and true peak limiting for two independent stereo programs, sourced from SDI or AES.

Dual Stereo Level Magic Audio Processor – EASY LOUDNESS AoIP

With dual stereo processing channels, integrated Dante®/AES67 I/O and optional logging features EASY LOUDNESS AoIP is the ideal solution for automatic and intelligent real-time loudness management. Jünger Audio’s integrated Level Magic process ensures maximum audio quality and compliance with all worldwide loudness standards.

Ideally suited for stereo broadcast and production, the EASY LOUDNESS AoIP audio processor is designed to ensure that audio levels and loudness are automatically kept under control in every different program and day. Featuring comprehensive Level Magic loudness control, failover switching, and true peak limiting for two independent stereo programs, sourced from Dante®/AES67 or AES.

HIGH DENSITY LINEHigh Density Board C8492

The heart for all high-density systems is the C8492 SDI/DSP board. It combines SDI embedding and de-embedding capabilities with DSP processing functionality in one single module. This module combines powerful compact processing with efficiency and flexibility never seen before.

High Density System – COMPACT 256

Belonging to the High-Density range of digital audio processors, the Compact 256 is aimed at broadcast playout facilities with a large number of TV channels that require efficient and transparent loudness management for the maximum number of audio channels within the minimum amount of rack space. For high volume loudness management of multiple TV channels where rack space is at a premium, the Compact range offers the most efficient ratio of DSP performance and throughput with the smallest footprint requirement. All current broadcast audio loudness standards are supported.

High-Density System – COMPACT 64

Belonging to the High-Density range of digital audio processors, the Compact 64 is aimed at broadcast playout facilities with a large number of TV channels that require efficient and transparent loudness management for the maximum number of audio channels within the minimum amount of rack space. For high volume loudness management of multiple TV channels where rack space is at a premium, Jünger Audio’s Compact range offers the most efficient ratio of DSP performance and throughput with the smallest footprint requirement. All current broadcast audio loudness standards are supported including ITU-R BS.1770 (1, 2, and 3) and recommended practices ATSC A/85 (2011/2013), ARIB TR-B32, Free TV OP-59, Portaria 354, and EBU R128.

C8000 – Modular Audio Processing and Interface System

The concept behind the C8000 modular system is total flexibility and adaptability for all digital audio processing applications. Choose a frame and then select only the modules with the required functionality to create a truly bespoke system. C8000 modular system offers a wide range of hardware options including frames, I/O cards, and processing cards that can be mixed and matched to create a unique solution for managing loudness and dynamics along with comprehensive Dolby® support.
