Participants gained comprehensive insights into all components of the SMPTE ST 2110 standard, including SMPTE ST 2110-10 through ST 2110-40, covering essential aspects such as the transport of uncompressed video and audio over IP, synchronization using the Precision Time Protocol (PTP), and the latest Networked Media Open Specifications (NMOS) for media control and management. This knowledge is crucial for professionals looking to keep pace with technological advancements in media production, broadcast, and live sound industries.
As part of the Stagetec Media Academy’s ongoing commitment to upskilling professionals in the ever-evolving media landscape, this training session emphasized equipping participants with the necessary skills and expertise to navigate the transition to IP-based media systems.
