MALAYSIA: VOKFM, a radio station in Sabah, Malaysia has upgraded their radio transmission system to the next level of technologies and operations. VOKFM Voice of Kinabalu is the latest commercial radio station from Sabah, Malaysia. The radio started its journey in order to attract listeners toward their radios daily and entertain them with some of the best collection of songs from 80’s, 90’s and some of the latest music.
For the new features, VOKFM has appointed STAGETEC Asia to consult them with the latest technologies in radio system, operation and transmission. VOKFM has been equip by Zenon Media’s On Air Solution.
Zenon Media’s radio On Air Solution ‘All In One Radio Solutions’ promote new digital audio concepts for ON Air radio broadcasting . These include from planning to On Air Playout inclusive local splitting for all size of radio station, pre – configured automation, cloud database and visual radio technology.
“We believe Zenon Media is going to put us in extra mileage for our transmission. This combinations will definitely boost our productivity and with the help of STAGETEC Asia in terms of maintenance and others, we are going a step further into this business, said Mr. Reynaldo Raymond Paggie, radio station manager of VOKFM.
STAGETEC Asia has brought Zenon Media’s brand into the house of VOKFM in Sabah with the assist of their two senior engineers, Leong Tong Sing and Yap Wei Keong. The installation and configuration took a limited time and the station didn’t need to hold their operation for too long.
“Previously, VOKFM is an online based radio stations and now it’s transmission is via radio frequency following the upgrade. Changing the radio automation to Zenon Media has helped VOKFM to schedule songs effortlessly” – Said Leong, the Senior Technical Director for STAGETEC Asia.
